Job Description
The account manager will be responsible for managing client relationships and will be tasked with the primary goal/ responsibility of helping our clients grow their value added services (VAS) business. In this role, he/she will facilitate knowledge transfer between our clients, our development team and engineering unit in order to effectively meet clients’ needs. The account manager will use market and industry trends to propose new business opportunities and growth areas (as pertains to sales). He/she will also work with the clients to ensure that services introduced by the products team are successfully launched, viable and profitable. In addition, the account manager will use service performance analysis to propose and implement improvements to existing services.



Key Responsibilities:
Engage in sales activities that drive the company’s top-line growth whiles preserving other key financial indicators
Be part of the team of analyzing, reviewing and implementing the business vision of the company as pertains to marketing and sales strategy and other matters in general described as business development
Engage in marketing and sales initiatives including international travel to industry trade shows as well as client and potential client offices for presentations, demonstrations, marketing and sales activity
Assist in the implementation of marketing and sales plan
Contribute to the development and optimization of tools for measuring and analyzing productivity
Manage multiple client and sales accounts
Utilize performance statistics/data to support the optimization service delivery

Required Skills or Experience
Minimum of an undergraduate degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution
A technology background a plus
Prior sales experience in technology a plus
Prior entrepreneurship experience a plus
At least 2-5 years experience in sales and account management
Ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of corporate clients (from executive level to junior staff)
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Authorized to work in Ghana
