Position Description:
- The Monitoring & Evaluation Co-ordinator (M&E Co-ordiantor) will be directly responsible for the co-ordination of all Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting activities as well as providing technical and advisory support in these areas to partner organisations
- The M&E Co-ordinator will serve as an in-house resource to component managers and partners organisations on developing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Systems
- The M&E Co-ordinator will collaborate with appropriate programme staff and seek out and promote innovation and learning in order to continuously improve programme implementation and performance
- The M&E Co-ordinator will report to the Programme Manager
Required Skills or Experience
Required (must have):
- A Bachelor's degree preferably in planning, statistics, or any relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years leadership experience in M&E co-ordination and management
- Skilled in use of statistical methods for design of data collection systems and for data analysis
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Superior knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft excel, SPSS, Epi Info, etc
- Proved experience designing and managing databases
- Strong participatory training and facilitation skills
- Good qualitative analysis and writing skills
- Team player, highly-motivated, self-starter, able to work under pressured and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English required
- Ability to relate to and communicate with people from different backgrounds
- Ability and willingness to travel within Ghana
- Relevant graduate degree
- Understanding of humanitarian and development work
- Experience designing and collecting monitoring data involving behaviour change, life skills, health knowledge, children and youth and gender
