The University: On May 14, 2004 the University of Education Act, Act 672 was enacted to upgrade the status of the University College of Education of Winneba to the status of a full University. The University of Education, Winneba was established in September, 1992 as a University College under PNDC Law 322.

University of Education, Winneba brought together seven diploma awarding institutions located in different towns under one umbrella institution. Currently the University has three campuses. The main campus is at Winneba in the Central Region, with satellite campuses at Kumasi and Ashanti Mampong in the Ashanti Region.

Job Position Description:

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of a Deputy Registrar at the College of Technology Education, Kumasi of the University of Education, Winneba.

Responsibilities:
The successful applicants will perform the following responsibilities:

• Assists the Registrar in his advisory role
• Facilitate administrative work at the College
• Facilitate the implementation of decisions and policies of the University
• Serve as Secretary to Boards and Committees

Other duties may be added due to institutional needs

Required Skills or Experience

• Candidates seeking appointment as Deputy Registrar must posses a Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Must have served as Senior Assistant Registrar or equivalent grade in an analogous institution for a minimum of five (5) years
