Job Description
Role/Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Bank
- Co-ordinate and control operational activities between Head Office and the agencies, inter-branch operations
- Ensure the timely submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly returns to ARB Apex Bank and the Bank of Ghana
- Pay visits to the agencies to scrutinise their books and records to ensure that processes and procedures are being followed or adhered to;
- Check staff compliment and ensure that the required number of staff as stated on the organogram are maintained for smooth running of the agencies;
- Ensure that the agencies keep neat surroundings and that the Bank's physical resources are serviced or maintained regularly
- Assist the General Manager by discharging delegated duties from him and acting in his absence;
- Control cost and ensure the Bank operates within budget
Required Skills or Experience
- A first degree or ACIB with a minimum of 15 years experience
- Sound knowledge of Banking, Banking Law and Practice
- Excellent Management, entrepreneurial and administrative skills
- Very good working knowledge of Microsoft office suit
- High sense of responsibility and result oriented working attitude
- To implement all operational policies of banking services in addition to effective deposit mobilisation for business guided by branch operational manual
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate
- Minimum age limit must be 35 years
