Job Description
The Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons wishes to engage the services of qualified and industrious persons to fill the following vacancy in the Establishment.
Job Summary:
To support the Accounts office to fulfill its purpose of keeping accounts and preparing documents to transactions.

Job Responsibility:
- Assist to prepare reconciliation statements and the cash book
- Keep track of statutory obligations to stated institutions under the FAR
- Assist in budget preparation
- Cross check payments vouchers for your superior
- Assist to keep daily records of transactions and inputting data
- Follow-up on outstanding financial transactions
- Draft input into the preparation of final accounts
- Vet petty cash accounts
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned by your Superior
Required Skills or Experience
The candidates must satisfy the following requirements:
- Hold a degree in Accounting from a recognized university
- Must have at least two (2) years working experience in handling accounts work in a busy environment such as a specialist institution or a tertiary institution
Must be able to abide by the following:
- Must have knowledge and skill in the use of accounting software
- Be skillful in the use of Microsoft excel and word
- Able to work under pressure
- Must be trustworthy and dependable
- Pay attention to detail
