Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons with successful academic and industry leadership background for appointment to the following positions at Ghana Telecom University College.

Job Summary:
The Director is the Academic and Administrative Head of he Faculty/Campus and shall be responsible to the Vice President, providing leadership and direction to the Faculty/Campus for the attainment of the Faculty/Campus/University goals and objectives

Terms of Appointment:

• The appointment which is full-time shall be four (4) years in the first instance and may be subject to renewal for another two (2) years, altogether making a maximum of six (6) years. The candidate may opt to be a Faculty Member after serving the four-year term before attaining the statutory retiring age of sixty (60)
• A proposition of job satisfaction, opportunities for further development, challenging responsibilities and attractive salary and fringe benefits are attached to the post.

Required Skills or Experience

The Person:

• Must have a PhD with distinguished academic and industry leadership record, contemporary knowledge, competencies and desired behaviour in job functions and expectations and with the capacity to attract and manage resources, motivate and direct faculty and staff
• Must be able to attract grants and funds for Research and Development for the Faculty and University
• Must be able to serve a full four-year term of office before attaining the compulsory retiring age of sixty (60) years
