Job Position Description:

USAID/West Africa is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Ghanaian for the position of Supervisory Financial Analyst - Local Capacity Development.

• The position is located in the Regional Office of Financial Management (ROFM). The Supervisory Financial Analyst (SFA) will specifically be assigned to expand USAID/Ghana's efforts under the Local Capacity Development (LCD) initiative in working with both local organizations and host government entities in Ghana and the region.

Salary Range: GH¢32,928.00 - 49,388.00 p.a. (depending on qualification and experience)

Required Skills or Experience

Education & Prior Work Experience:

• A University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration field and a Master's degree in an area of specialty and/or CPA/ACCA/ICA certification is required. Seven years of progressively responsible experience in professional accounting, auditing, or financially oriented business management are required. Prior CPA firm audit experience is highly desirable

Skills and abilities:

• Must have an unusual ability to detect the financial strength and vulnerabilities of activity design and implementation actions. Must understand macroeconomic elements that affect the Government of Ghana (GoG) and capacity development. Must be able to communicate clearly with senior management, GoG and local entities and be able to implement training programs
