Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the Project Controls Manage. S/he will be responsible for providing cost control, scheduling, progress measurement, change control and forecasting for the Operations Services and Projects groups.

Essential Duties:

• Assist with cost estimates from conceptual estimates (factored from historically similar projects) to detailed estimates prepared from drawings
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets or databases of estimates, forecasts, commitments, costs, changes, and progress for reporting on same
• Provide the accounting department with accruals based on work in place
• Develop and maintain project and departmental schedules using Primavera or MS Project

Required Skills or Experience

• A degree in Engineering or Accounting and project management experience, and or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Project Management training through the Project Management Institute or similar organization
• Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the engineering and construction management field with at least 1 year experience in project controls or project accounting
• A working knowledge in construction and understanding of accounting principles
