Job Description

Role Summary:
The Finance Manager will be expected to support the Cluster Director/Country Director and Business Directors as the Head of the Business Support and cluster Finance leader for West Africa. He is part of the country's Senior Leadership Team.

Main Objectives:

• Ensure efficient, secure & appropriately controlled financial environment
• Provide financial services & advice needed to guarantee effective management of financial resources
• Ensure that performance against targets is monitored and to inform in-year action and future planning

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee/manage country daily financial tasks
• Provide general accounting/financial services in line with SAP requirement
• Oversee the control of cash/cheque payments
• Budget monitoring and payroll management.
• Decision Support: Context Analysis and Risk Management
• Develope sound financial policies to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices

Required Skills or Experience

• M.Sc Finance, MBA Finance and/or ACCA, CA, CIMA
• At least 5 years practical experience in a similar role
• Risk management & strong interpersonal skills
• Additional certificate in project management would be an advantage
• Experience with the use of SAP Accounting Software would be an advantage
