Job Description

A first-class private school located in the McCarthy Hill area of Accra requires for 

immediate employment the services of a Headmaster with effect from September 2011.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To assist the General Manager in the day-to-day administration of the school
2. To develop and implement strategies that will promote the introduction of extra-mural
3. programmes in the school
4. To handle all academic matters of the school
5. To advise the General Manager on educational issues and policies
6. To develop and maintain a culture that will foster co-operation, commitment, efficiency 
7. and productivity among the staff
8. To monitor and supervise the activities of teaching staff
9. To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the General Manager from time to time

Salary: Very attractive but negotiable

Required Skills or Experience

1. Excellent marketing orientation
2. Excellent leadership and decision making skills
3. Excellent supervisory skills
4. Good team player
5. Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
6. A good first degree in Education with not less than 10 years post qualification experience
7. An age limit between 40 and 50 years
