Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of environmental monitoring programs in accordance with EPA protocols, internationally accepted protocols, interpret environmental data and

produce applicable reports.

• Conduct timely collection and interpretation of environmental high quality monitoring data for water quality, air quality, nose, meteorological and hydrological
• Assist with reports preparation to satisfy corporate, legal and regulatory reporting requirements
• Work closely with the Environmental Compliance team in evaluating, monitoring data performance trends
• Manage and motivate effective team of Junior and Senior environmental staff

Required Skills or Experience

• A degree in Environmental Management, Chemistry or other science related field such as hydrology or engineering
• Minimum of 4 years environmental experience working in a mining or related industrial operations
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Ghanaian Regulations as apply to mining operations
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in Twi language is advantageous
