Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the Mechanical Supervisor and will be responsibilities for all practical and technical work relevant to the position. 

• Developing and maintain a high safety and environmental awareness
• Ensure all breakdown maintenance is carried out quickly and efficiently to minimize plant downtime
• Assist in the development and review of the maintenance SOP's
• Actively participate in continuous improvement programs which will assist in enhancing the performance of the Ahafo Process Plant operation

Required Skills or Experience

• Relevant nationally recognized Mechanical or Boiler making trade qualification
• Minimum of 5years Mechanical or Boiler Making maintenance experience in a Process Plant environment, with a minimum of 3 years in gold processing
• Process Plant commissioning experience desirable
• Experience in mobile crane operation, both hydraulic and crawler cranes
