Job Description
The Role:
The Electrical/Electronic Engineer or Technician would report directly to the Plant Manager and work closely with the Production and Maintenance Team.

- The successful candidate, as part of the maintenance team, would be responsible for Maintenance, Repair of Factory Instrumentation and Plant/Process Automation
- He/she would ensure operational efficiency of facilities and control systems and co-ordinate all plant IT services, maintenance and engineering tasks effectively.
The candidate will:
- Perform backups of organization's data
- Ensure efficient maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on all instruments and process control systems
- Assist in installation of process instruments and pneumatic applicances
- Design and implement control strategies based on current best practices and standards
- Identify areas on the production line that need improvement and reliability
- Co-ordinate all plant IT services
Required Skills or Experience
The Person:
- Applicant must have tertiary Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualification and Must be a seasoned Electrical/Electronic Engineer or Technician with at least 3 to 5 years post qualification experience
- Strong knowledge in Plant Engineering, Process and Industrial Automation's, Electrical and IT
- Experience in PLC programming, Siemens Step 5 to 7, AB or Mitsubishi
- Chip or compound level experience including schematic troubleshooting
- Experience in commissioning automated installations
- Beverage or allied industry experience preferable
