Our client, a logistics management company is looking up for immediate employment for the position of a warehouse manager.

- Oversee stock control and processing orders
- Keep stock control systems up to date
- Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders
- Monitor the performance and progress of staff
- Motivate, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
- Communicate with other departments
- Maintain and improving stock integrity
- Ensure quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met
- Fulfill objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters
- Co-ordinate the use of automated and computerized systems
- Plan future capacity requirements
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Brief team leaders on a daily basis
Required Skills or Experience
Criteria:
- Must have the ability to successfully plan, prioritise and manage workload
- Must be able to adapt to constantly changing situations
- Be enthusiastic, well-organised
- Self-motivated and have strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience of managing a busy warehouse essential
- A good first degree from a recognised University in Logistics Management. A Masters degree and a member of Institute of Transport and Logistics will be an added advantage
